AOC Asia Symposium 2026

AOC Asia 2026 is the flagship Asia regional symposium of the Association of Old Crows (AOC), bringing together Defence, government, industry and academic leaders from across the Indo-Pacific to explore current and emerging challenges in electronic warfare (EW), electromagnetic spectrum operations (EMSO) and related capability domains.

Delivered as a dedicated electromagnetic warfare capsule program within the ADSTAR 2026 Summit, AOC Asia 2026 will take place from 4–6 August 2026, immediately following the AOC ANZ Classified Day on Monday, 3 August 2026.

Hosted by AOC ANZ, AOC Asia serves as AOC’s primary regional platform in Asia for advancing collaboration, innovation and professional engagement across the electromagnetic warfare community.

Co-location with ADSTAR 2026 provides a unique opportunity to connect the electromagnetic warfare community with the broader Defence science, technology and innovation ecosystem, enabling deeper engagement, knowledge exchange and collaboration across the Indo-Pacific.

Registration for AOC Asia 2026 includes access to the broader ADSTAR 2026 Summit, including keynote presentations, technical sessions, exhibition activities, networking functions and the Gala Dinner.

Independently curated by AOC ANZ and delivered within ADSTAR 2026, the program will explore the following themes:

Speakers & Program Updates

Abstract submissions for AOC Asia 2026 have now closed and the technical program is currently being finalised by the AOC ANZ Program Committee.

 

The symposium received strong interest from Defence, government, industry and academic contributors across Australia, New Zealand and the broader Indo-Pacific region.

 

Additional speaker announcements and program updates will be released progressively as program development is finalised.

Classified Day

AOC ANZ will deliver a dedicated Classified Day immediately prior to AOC Asia 2026.

 

​Held on Monday, 3 August 2026, this AOC-led restricted event provides a secure environment for cleared personnel to engage on operationally relevant topics across:

  • Electronic Warfare (EW)

  • Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (EMSO)

  • Cyber Electromagnetic Activities (CEMA)

  • Information Operations (IO)

  • Joint and integrated operations

The program will feature senior Defence perspectives, capability discussions, operational insights, a senior leaders panel and targeted networking opportunities focused on operational challenges and future capability priorities.

  • Venue: Confirmed upon security clearance validation

  • Tickets: $770 AUD

Important: The Classified Day is a separately ticketed event and is not included with standard ADSTAR 2026 or AOC Asia 2026 registration.

Attendance is limited and subject to capacity.

 

Participation requires an appropriate and verifiable security clearance in accordance with venue requirements.

To attend, participants must:

  • Register for ADSTAR 2026 / AOC Asia 2026

  • Purchase a separate Classified Day add-on ticket (AUD $770)

  • Hold an active and verifiable security clearance

  • Successfully complete the required security validation process

The Classified Day does not have a standalone registration pathway.

Selection of a Classified Day ticket does not guarantee attendance. Participation remains subject to eligibility requirements, security clearance validation and venue capacity.
