Join the IPIA, the Association of Old Crows – Australian Chapter, and the IPA for the Global Information Summit Australia 2026 – The Convergence.

Building on the Global Information Conference in 2024, the 2026 Summit was a landmark event designed to build the ecosystem, fuse capabilities, and advance the profession within the information environment.

This four-day Summit brought together government, industry and academia to create a coherent and resilient network that delivers true information advantage:

• Tuesday 21 and Wednesday 22 July were held at the iconic Adelaide Oval for keynotes and panel sessions, where attendees explored how diverse capabilities could be integrated into powerful, unified solutions — delivering outcomes greater than the sum of their parts. The Summit also focused on codifying skills, standards, ethics and career pathways to empower practitioners in the information age.

• Thursday 23 and Friday 24 July comprised classified and unclassified briefing streams, along with a hands-on wargaming experience.

Also included in the ticket:

• Welcome drinks and canapés at the National Wine Centre on Tuesday evening

• A networking drinks opportunity at Adelaide Oval on Wednesday evening after the conference day concluded

The Summit provided an opportunity to shape the future of information practice.
